We want you to get the most out of our time here, so everyone should plan on being onsite for the entire two weeks of the institute and in class every weekday, as scheduled in the syllabus. All sessions will take place in the downtown library building on WVU’s downtown campus, in Room 2036. There is no security to enter the library.
A small, continental breakfast will be available every day of the workshop (M-F), starting at 9 am. Instruction will begin at 9:30 am and finish at 4 pm, with the exception of the first day when breakfast is at 8:30 am and instruction begins at 9:00 am. Mornings will generally include direct instruction and discussion sessions on topics relevant to building and sustaining multimodal scholarship. Lunch will be catered in every day (except the last Friday), during which we will offer optional and informal instructional sessions, as participants and instructors find necessary and useful. Evenings, including dinners, will be on participants’ own time/dime, with plenty of local restaurants listed on the Location page. Please also see the Social Events page for detail on scheduled outings, which are encouraged but optional. Let Demi or Cheryl know if you need any specific accommodations that we haven’t already asked about for any of the scheduled events.
