Lodging for both workshops is free for all participants.

Participants in the Author Workshops will stay for free in a new residence hall at WVU, located two blocks from the classroom. The residence hall offers single-occupancy rooms with suite-style bathrooms. All housing and work locations on campus offer reliable WVU Guest Wi-Fi access and eduroam, while the residence hall also offers Ethernet access.

Participants in the Editor Workshops will have two nights of hotel lodging near the conference site paid for under the grant.

Transportation expenses differ between the Author and Editor workshop types. Please note the following carefully:

For Author Workshops, your transportation to Morgantown is provided under the grant. We will arrange transportation for you, including shuttle service from one of the nearby airports, if needed. In town, we will provide a shuttle for participants needing mobility assistance. Morgantown also has the Mountain Line Transit Authority (busses) for public transportation, and MoTown Taxi and Uber for getting around. Parking passes for on campus can be purchased separately.

Transportation to the Editors Workshops, held in conference locales, are not provided under the grant and, therefore, are participants’ responsibility.
